ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Thousands of people gathered and marched through downtown and across the St. Louis metro Saturday as a part of the nationwide “No Kings” protest.

In downtown, protesters gathered at Kiener Plaza and marched on both Market and Broadway.

St. Louis police shut down roadways during these marches. A spokesperson for the department said there were no issues reported and no arrests made during the protests.

There were No Kings protests in several locations in the St. Louis metro, including in Ballwin, Sappington, St. Peters, Belleville, Alton, Illinois, and O’Fallon, Illinois.
